The terms for using Style

1. Who we are

CURRENT Style ("Style") is operated by Doug OS Inc., an Ontario corporation. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Doug OS Inc. "You" means the person using Style.

By using Style, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Style.

2. Who can use Style

You need to be 13 or older. If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian should agree to these terms with you and help with anything you buy.

3. What Style is

Style gives you information. It puts together looks and shows each piece in a designer, a mid and a budget version, each from a real store. It tells you where to buy each piece or see it in person.

We don't sell, stock or ship anything, and we don't take payments. "Save this look" keeps a look in Me on your device. It isn't an order.

4. The store is the seller

When you tap a Shop link, you leave Style and go to the store's website. The store named on the link is the seller. The store sets and is responsible for:

• the price, taxes, duties and any fees,
• whether the item is in stock,
• shipping and pickup,
• returns, exchanges and refunds,
• warranties, product quality and customer service.

Your purchase is between you and the store. If something goes wrong with an order, contact the store. We can't change, cancel or refund an order.

Store and brand names, logos and product photos belong to their owners. Showing them in Style doesn't mean a store or brand endorses Style.

5. Prices, photos and stores

• Prices are what the store showed on the day we last checked. Stores change prices and end sales at any time. The price on the store's checkout is the one that counts.
• Photos are the store's own product photos, loaded from the store. Colours on your screen can look different in person.
• Look totals are estimates. Pieces priced in other currencies are converted to Canadian dollars at a rough exchange rate. Totals don't include tax, shipping or duties.
• Find a store and Pick up in store are based on what we found about each store. They can be out of date. Check with the store before you go.
• Availability. A piece can sell out or be taken down after we checked.

6. Sizes and fit

Size suggestions are a guess from the measurements you enter in Me. They aren't a fitting. Check the store's size chart before you buy. If something doesn't fit, the store's return policy applies.

7. The Stylist and suggestions

The Stylist chat is automated. It answers from the looks in Style. Its answers, the looks and the budget picks are style ideas for you to judge. They aren't professional advice.

8. Affiliate links

When affiliate links are on, some stores pay Style a small commission when you buy through a Style link. Your price stays the same. Commissions help keep Style free. The privacy policy explains what happens when you tap one of these links.

9. Your photo and your information

What you add in Me, including your photo, stays on your device. Our privacy policy explains this.

Only add a photo of yourself, or of someone who has agreed to it. Your information lives on your device, so we can't recover it if it's lost or cleared.

10. Using Style fairly

Style is for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please don't:

• copy, scrape, resell or put Style or its looks on another website,
• try to get around its copy protection or take the app apart,
• use Style to break the law or to harm Style, the stores or other people.

11. Our software and content

The app, its design and the selection and arrangement of looks belong to us or our licensors Product photos, names and descriptions belong to the stores and brands.

12. No warranty

Style is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it accurate and running. We don't promise that it's error-free, complete or up to date, or that it will always be available. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties or conditions of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose.

13. Limits on what we owe

Style is free. To the extent the law allows:

• We aren't responsible for what a store does or doesn't do, including its prices, orders, delivery, products, returns, refunds or how it handles your information.
• We aren't responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or for information lost from your device.
• If we are responsible for a loss, the most we owe you is CA$100.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights that consumer law gives you and that can't be taken away.

14. Changes to Style

We can change, add or remove looks, stores and features, or pause or end Style, at any time. You can stop using Style at any time.

15. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we update the date at the top. If a change matters, we'll also say so in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Style after that, the new terms apply.

16. The law that applies

These terms follow the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If something goes wrong, talk to us first. If we can't sort it out, the courts of Ontario decide. If you live somewhere whose consumer law gives you the right to use your local law or courts, you keep that right.
